Drew invented a new game. You throw sand at the tree and yell "Snowball!" (Inspired by the snowball fight in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.) Marcus enjoys playing.

Iron Man!

For months Andrew's been telling us how he really, really wanted to turn into Iron Man.

I hope he's still excited about this costume in October.

Memorial Day Weekend in Des Moines

The boys got to check out the tractors on Grandpa's friend's farm.

Fran and I took the boys to Blank Park Zoo. They had an animatronic dinosaur exhibit, but Andrew wouldn't go much past the entrance due to the scary T Rex. The highlight of the trip for him was getting his face painted for the first time-thanks Grandma!

Easter 2011

Drew loved the Easter Egg hunt, and of course the candy and toys. Marcus got his first Easter basket. We all enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa!

Race Car

Back in September, Matt was in a BBQ competition. There, a local dry cleaner had a race car that Andrew got to play in and pretend to drive. They took pictures and told me they would email them to me. And today they did.

To take advantage of the recent snow, we got Andrew a sled. Turns out our backyard is good for sledding (except for the fence).

Marcus is walking!
